SANDF opportunity extended till next year - 2018 Applications
Those of you who did not manage or make into the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) this year, you will be happy to know that there's still hope for you. The South African Government and Presidency announced on Friday that they're extending the employment of the SANDF services with the aim of fulfilling international duty obligations.
The department also announced that a total of one thousand three hundred and seventy one (1371) members of the SANDF were employed during this year's applications. If you didn't get a chance to apply this year, you still have a chance of getting into your beloved field. Applications are extended as of the 1 April 2017 right to 13 March 2018.
The main aim of the extension is basically to participate in the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) as part of the Force Intervention Brigade (FIB), the presidency said.
To qualify, please ensure you provide the following supporting documentations. This information is very crucial and significant which is why you must provide accurate information and correct documentations for your application to be considered.
- ID or Passport number in the case of non-South Africans.
- This information is required to enable the department to comply with the Employment Equity Act, 1998.
- This information will only be taken into account if it directly relates to the requirements of the position.
- Applicants with substantial qualifications or work experience must attached a CV.
